RULES
I. Introduction
team72 is launching a photo competition on the www.snowparkrally.com website. Creatively-minded website visitors are being requested to upload photo in regard to a specific mission topic in two disciplines (snowboard and freeski). Their photos will be judged by an expert jury. The best participants of each preliminary round will participate at the Snowparkrally finals. The overall winner will be invited to the Burn Team Photoshoot 2012. The overall winning crew (3 persons) will be invited to the Völkl Summer Summer Week 2012.
II. Competition rules
1. Eligibility to participate
The competition is open to all European citizens who would like to demonstrate their creativity. There is no entrance fee. Employees of the three organizers, Völkl Sports GmbH & Co. KG, Coca Cola GesmbH and team72 and other persons who are involved in the planning and implementation of the competition are not eligible to participate.

Main prizes:
- The winner of each mission and two of her/his buddies will be invited to the Snowpark Rally Finals in Gerlos and gets paid accomodation, catering and lifttickets. Travel expenses will be covered for Europe only! If you live over 800km away from Gerlos flights will be covered. Otherwise you travel by train or get your mileage reimbursed.
- The winning photographer in each discipline will be invited to the Burn team photoshoot 2012
- The winning crew (3 persons) in each discipline will be invited to travel with the Völkl team to the Völkl Summer Team Week 2012

The prizes cannot be exchanged by participants for alternative prizes or for cash. The organizers reserve the right to change the specified prizes if the circumstances necessitate this.
4. Registration and photo submission
Participants are required to fill in the First Name and Surname, Country of Residence, Date of Birth and E-mail Address fields at www.snowparkrally.com and to accept the competition rules by clicking on the checkbox. Only registered participants can submit a photo.
Only uploaded photos will be judged. Each participant may submit any number of photos. The photos cannot be submitted by fax, post or e-mail.
5. Voting
The submitted designs are uploaded using the "Gallery" menu item and "exhibited" online. The decision on the winners will be made an expert jury.
a. Jury decision
After the upload period in each preliminary round an expert jury will select the top 5 photos. The jury will make its decision in private by way of a simple majority vote of jury members present and it is not contestable. The jury’s decision is final.
Jury assessment criteria: Imagination, innovation, originality and visual appeal of the photo.
b. Disqualification of photos / participants
All photos are subject to the inspection and approval of the organizers. Discriminating, pro violence, pornographic and other designs which offend common decency will be disqualified from the competition.
The organizers have the right to disqualify participants who manipulate or attempt to manipulate the participation process and the competition and/or breach these competition rules and/or otherwise attempt to fairly or unfairly influence the competition (in particular by way of interference with, threatening of and/ or harassing of other competition participants or the organizer's employees).
6. Schedule / dates
Competition launch: 12th December 2011 (12 am, Central European Time)
Preliminary rounds:
- Round 1:
Competition entries from 12th December 2011 (12 am, Central European Time) to 16th January 2012 (12 midnight, Central European Time), jury voting between 17th and 20th January 2011
- Round 2:
Competition entries from 17tht January 2012 (10 am, Central European Time) to 13th February 2012 (12 midnight, Central European Time), jury voting between 14th and 17th February 2012
- Round 3:
Competition entries from 14th February 2012 (10 am, Central European Time) to 12th March 2012 (12 midnight, Central European Time), jury voting between 13th and 16th March 2012
Final round:
29th March to 1st April 2012 in Gerlos (Austria)
7. Rights
Every participant who registers to participate in the photo competition and clicks the checkbox accepts these competition rules. He or she bindingly and irrevocably declares that the uploaded photo is his or her own work and that he or she holds all copyrights, rights of use and enjoyment and other related rights, and the photo does not infringe third party rights.
The participant thus exempts the organizers from all third party claims arising from the uploading of the photo. If a photo is created by more than one person, all copyright-reserving persons must be named and their consent verified. Participants are liable for the validity of the information that they provide. They retain the copyright to their photos at all times.
The participant grants Völkl Sports GmbH & Co. KG, Coca Cola GesmH and team72 the exclusive (changed on 6th February 2012) rights to all known types of use (time, territory and content) to the photo for the duration of the photo competition and for subsequent publications and possible exhibitions in connection with the competition. This includes, in particular, the right to duplicate, disseminate, exhibit or make the photo available to the public, especially for promotional purposes.
8. Notification of winners and publication of winners' names
In each mission the top 5 will be notified by e-mail. If any of the finalists (top ranked photos in each discipline) are unattainable for more than a one-week period – commencing at the time when notification is provided to the winners - they shall lose their entitlement to the prize.
The participant consents - in the event that he or she wins in the competition - to his or her name being published on the internet or in the organizers' press or promotional materials. Participants who are not competition winners will not be notified upon request.
9. Prize giving
The terms of participation at either the Snowpark Rally Finals, the Völkl Summer Week 2012 or the Burn Team Photoshooot 2012 will be agreed between the finalists/winners and Völkl Sports GmbH & Co. KG, Coca Cola GesmbH and team72. The other prizes will be sent by post.
10. Premature discontinuation of the competition
The organizers may discontinue the competition at any time without stating reasons. This applies, in particular, if the competition cannot run as scheduled for any reason, for example, in the case of computer viruses, software and/or hardware errors and/or for other technical and/or legal reasons which affect the administration, security, integrity and/ or regular and proper implementation of the competition.
11. Liability
The organizers shall not be liable for incorrect or incomplete records of participant and competition data, or the failure to record, store or process such data, for reasons over which the organizer has no control. If irregularities occur in the points scoring - for example as a result of server or software problems - the organizers shall make a final and absolute decision as regards the winner at their own discretion and in accordance with the criteria specified in II. (5).
12. Miscellaneous
1. Participation in the competition and chances of winning are in no way influenced by purchasing the organizers' products or using their services.
2. The judges' decision is final.
3. The Competition is subject to Austrian Law.
13. Data protection
The participants' personal data will be transferred to and used by Völkl Sports GmbH & Co. KG, Coca Cola GesmbH and team72, for the implementation and processing of the competition, and the participants expressly consent to such transfer and use. Völkl Sports GmbH & Co. KG, Coca Cola GesmbH and team72 will not sell personal data or pass on address data to third parties.
14. Privacy policy
By agreeing to this rules I consent to the storage, processing, transfer and use of the personal data which I have provided for the purpose of implementing the competition and processing competition entries in a database managed by and at the responsibility of Völkl Sports GmbH & Co. KG, Coca Cola GesmbH and team72 and any of their affiliated companies. I would also like to receive information by e-mail or post from Völkl, Burn / Coca Cola and team72 about offers and promotions and herewith declare my consent to such information being sent to me in the aforementioned manner. I can revoke this consent at any time by sending a message to the organizers of this competition by using the contact form on this website. Clicking on this checkbox has no bearing on your participation in the competition.
